This project involves a very large yard with wonderful elements of a pool, pool house, large open field, redwood grove, deck and patio space. It is currently uninviting and underutilized for gatherings. What is missing is a master plan to connect it all together and soften the harshness of the hardscape. The new design includes a Tea house and Zen garden, a connective park like path throughout, introduction of plantings and trees, development of a hot tub & outdoor shower alcove, and a dining and fire pit lounge. This will provide much more inviting spaces for the owners and friends to utilize the entire yard. The addition of lighting will extend the day use into the night and make the yard come alive at night.
